Drawn to the opportunity to build something meaningful, Martha Valdez joined Modena Cherry Creek in 2020 as Assisted Living Director. Since then, she has built a strong team, fostered lasting relationships with residents and families, and continues to be inspired by Solera’s innovative approach to redefining senior living.

20 Years of Exceptional
As the second team member ever hired at Sage Senior Living, Tina Wilhelmsen has spent two decades shaping what senior living care looks like — first at Sage, and now as General Manager at Plush Mills, which later joined the Solera family. Along the way, Tina has made an impact in nearly every role imaginable, building trust with residents and families and strengthening the teams around her at every turn. Known by colleagues as "one in a million," she's someone who will always step in to help. We're incredibly grateful to have her as part of the Solera family and celebrate her 20 remarkable years of service, leadership, and impact.

Determined to make Denver home, Liz Dreifuss found her opportunity when she learned Solera's new Modena Cherry Creek community was hiring — and she made the move from St. Louis to join as Sales Counselor. Five years later, Modena and Solera have become family. Liz points to the culture as what sets it apart: never feeling like just a number, but valued, supported, and encouraged to grow. She's also watched Solera's footprint expand dramatically, from just eight communities when she started to the organization it is today. Through it all, she's proud to be part of a team that celebrates its wins, learns from its failures, and keeps pushing each other to be better every day.

Robyn Wheat began her career in hospitality before transitioning into senior living more than 20 years ago. After starting in the business office, she moved into sales, where she found her passion for helping families navigate complex and emotional decisions. At Village Crossing, she's been part of the community's story from the very beginning — helping build it from the ground up through lease-up, opening, and on to full occupancy. That deep investment has given her a lasting sense of ownership, purpose, and pride.
